    This is the drive pulley component for the Castex 16-inch UPT brush roll (Part #230348). The pulley is the grooved wheel mounted on the end of the brush roll that the drive belt wraps around, transferring motor power to spin the agitator. A worn, cracked, or stripped pulley causes belt slippage and weak brush rotation — replacing it restores positive belt grip and full agitation.

    • Component: Pulley only — brush roll is sold separately (Part #700098)
    • Application: Castex 16" UPT power head
    • Purpose: Transfers belt drive to the brush roll for consistent carpet agitation

    This pulley is the correct OEM-spec replacement for the Castex 16" UPT, model #607098. Order it on its own when your existing brush roll bristles are still good but the pulley is damaged, or pair it with brush roll #700098 for a complete rebuild. Check belt condition at the same time, since a glazed or stretched belt accelerates pulley wear.
