Product details

Part 10.9011-303 is the control board this power nozzle uses, cross-listed under Wessel Werk 9708. It is housed inside the nozzle, sitting between the controls the operator uses and the brush motor those controls drive.

A failing board rarely announces itself as one clean symptom. It can keep the nozzle from powering up at all, cut the motor mid-room, leave the switch doing nothing, or produce results that change with the angle of the neck. Those same symptoms can just as easily come from a loose wire or a worn switch, so trace the wiring and test the switching before assuming the board itself has failed. Once everything ahead of the board checks out clean, the board is what is left.

Let the nozzle sit for a few minutes with the vacuum unplugged before opening the housing. Order by the exact part number, since boards across the EBK line share a similar look but are built for different circuits and will not cross over.

Before placing an order, look over the wiring running to the board for corrosion, a chafed lead, or a connection that has worked loose, since a poor joint anywhere along that path imitates a dead board and costs nothing to rule out. Wiring that has sat undisturbed for years is a common culprit that ends up blamed on the board when reseating one connection would have settled it.
