Clean Max Switch - Titan T5...

Product details
Power to the motor on a Clean Max ZM800, Maytag M700 or Titan T500 cordless upright routes through a single switch, and every start and stop of a cleaning session runs through that one contact point. On a battery machine there is no wall plug to pull, so this one switch stands between the motor and its power source at every start and every stop, and it takes a press each time the vacuum is used, often several in a single session.
The failure pattern is usually electrical before it is mechanical. Contacts inside the switch pit and carbon up with use, and the vacuum starts needing two or three presses to catch, or cuts out briefly under vibration even though the switch still feels solid when you press it. A switch that has gone fully dead, with no response at all, has usually been giving these intermittent warnings for a while first.
Part A328-1500 is the direct replacement switch for this platform and drops into the original mounting position. Intermittent switch faults are worth chasing down promptly, since a machine that occasionally fails to start under load can also fail to shut off cleanly, and on a battery machine there is no cord to pull as a simple backstop.
