The hose is the same 30-foot direct-connect run, and an adjustable telescopic wand and above-floor cleaning tools come with it (SKU PSW30D).

Wired for direct connect, the hose's contacts engage the moment it is seated in a wall inlet, which is what tells the powerhead's brush to start turning without any separate plug or switch to manage. Keep in mind that a light-coloured powerhead shows dirt and discoloration sooner than a dark one would under the same daily use, which is a real tradeoff for the lighter look. The ET-1's motorized brush roll lifts embedded grit and pet hair that airflow alone leaves in the pile.

Confirm your wall inlets are wired for direct-connect power before ordering, since direct-connect, low-voltage and dual-voltage pigtail hoses use different wiring at the inlet and are not interchangeable with each other. If a powerhead already on your system has stopped spinning while suction still pulls fine, that generally points to wear inside the powerhead itself rather than the hose, and it is worth checking the powerhead separately before assuming a whole kit needs replacing.
