Product details

Part 14-1968-02 is a 10-inch stair tool for commercial carpet extractors, built with an S-bend neck and dual spray jets for 1-1/2 inch hose connections.

Stairs are awkward for extraction because neither a full-size floor wand, which will not sit flat on a step, nor a small upholstery tool, which needs pass after pass to cover the same width, handles a tread well. The angled neck lets the head lie flat against each step, and the two spray jets spread solution evenly across the width of the head so one pass covers the tread rather than leaving dry streaks down the middle.

  • Part: 14-1968-02
  • Head width: 10 in
  • Connection: 1-1/2 in hose and solution lines
  • Jets: dual spray

Confirm your extractor uses standard 1-1/2 inch vacuum and solution connections before ordering.

The tool covers the full width of a stair tread in one pass when pulled straight down the center of the step rather than at an angle, which keeps both jets tracking evenly across the pile. Rinsing the head after each job keeps dried solution from building up in the jets.
