Replacement handle wire harness for commercial duty Riccar and Simplicity uprights, stocked as B431-6400B. This is the modified VIB / SYM version, terminated with a male end, and it runs switch and power wiring up through the handle tube to the grip.
Harnesses rarely fail in the middle. Constant handle movement works the conductors near the connector until a strand breaks, and the vacuum then cuts out when the handle is rocked or the cord is nudged. Fitting a new harness ends that intermittent fault rather than chasing it.
