Replacement squeegee strip for the compact power nozzle used on Riccar and Simplicity vacuums, part B354-0900. The squeegee sits along the underside of the nozzle and wipes across the floor as the head moves, helping the airstream collect fine grit and pet hair instead of pushing it forward.
This strip is a wear item. Hard floors and low-pile carpet gradually round off the edge, and once it stops making even contact with the floor the nozzle picks up less on the forward stroke. Fitting a fresh one restores the original seal against the surface.
