These are rubber stretch belts for the Dirt Devil UD74600V, sold two to a pack and measuring seven inches. The part number is 440015693.
A stretch belt holds its own tension, which means it is working against its own elasticity from the day it goes on. It does not usually snap without warning; it slips first. The motor sounds normal, the machine feels normal, and the brush roll turns slowly or stops under load, so carpet pile is no longer being agitated and the vacuum starts leaving debris on a first pass.
They fit the Dirt Devil UD74600V, UD76400V, UD76410, UD76410V and UD76810, and the Hoover UH76410V and UH76430V. The second belt in the pack is worth keeping with the machine, because a slipping roller then becomes a five-minute job rather than another order.
