Part R192 is only the bristle ring that mounts inside a round dusting brush head, not the whole brush assembly. It presses in as a self-contained unit, so a worn set of bristles can be swapped out without buying an entirely new brush.
This particular insert is shared across three different vacuum brands. On Rainbow canisters it is used in the E2 Type 12 offered in black, silver, and e2 gold, the earlier E-2 e-series, and the D, D2, D3, and D4 models. Filter Queen uses the same insert in its AN95X, RN92, PNG92, 99, 99A, 31X, D31X, and D33 machines. Kirby fits it into the dusting brush on its Generation 3 and Generation 5 uprights as well.
The bristles go soft and splay outward from repeated use long before the plastic head they sit in wears out, which is exactly why the insert is sold on its own. Once the ring stops holding its shape, the brush skates across dusty surfaces instead of catching what it passes over.
