This replacement flat belt (Part #10-3102-07) fits early Dyson DC04 and DC07 upright vacuums built without a clutch. The flat-profile belt drives the brushroll from the motor, keeping the agitator spinning so it can lift dirt, dust, and pet hair out of carpet fibers.
Designed specifically for:
- Dyson DC04 (early, non-clutch versions)
- Dyson DC07 (early, non-clutch versions)
Note that this belt is for the earlier non-clutch design; later clutched DC04 and DC07 models use a different geared belt. On non-clutch machines, a stretched or broken flat belt is the usual reason the brushbar stops turning while the motor still runs. The 10-3102-07 is sized to original specification for a snug, reliable fit and straightforward installation. Keep a spare on hand to restore full brushroll drive whenever it is needed.
