Product details

Between the hose end and the wand on a C-series machine sits a rigid bend, and SEBO supplies it as part 6088. The elbow turns the airstream through its angle while giving you a solid place to hold and steer the tools, which is why it absorbs more handling than nearly anything else on the machine.

Hairline cracks around the collar are the usual failure. They whistle, they bleed off draw before the air ever reaches the nozzle, and they tend to lengthen once started. A sound elbow seals the joint again and the tools recover their bite. The quick test is to run the machine and cup a hand over the bend: if the note changes, the leak has been found.

  • Fits: SEBO C1.1, C2.1 and C3.1 canister vacuums
  • Role: angled connector between hose and wand
  • Replace it: when air can be heard escaping at the bend
  • Part number: 6088

The rest of the hose train is catalogued separately, so a leak traced elsewhere has its own number to order against. On the C1.1 and C2.1 the handle, retaining ring, hose and coupling come as 6355AM and the stainless telescopic tube as 6237ER, with the sliding knob 6425ER and locking mechanism 6238ER on the tube itself. The C3.1 takes the dual-control handle and hose 8545AM with the 60237PI tube.

Everything that clips onto the far end of the bend depends on it sealing. The crevice nozzle is 1092GS, the upholstery nozzle 1491GS and the dusting brush 1094GS, and all three feel weak on a machine that is losing air here rather than at the nozzle itself. Check the cuff for a split before blaming the tool.

Because suction loss at the tool has several possible causes, it is worth ruling the bend in or out before ordering deeper into the machine. Genuine SEBO from an authorized SEBO dealer. Ships in 2–5 business days.
