The genuine Rainbow electric hose for the E and E2 series, part R11137. It is seven feet long, with a 4.5 inch metal tube at the wand end and the button set 1.5 inches from that end.
It fits the one-speed E series and the two-speed E series Type 12, which covers both the Gold two-speed and the Blue Platinum two-speed machines, and it can be used for wet pickup when the AquaMate shampoo system is fitted. It will not fit the SE, the D4, the E2 Black or the SRX, so check your machine before ordering. Rexair also lists this hose as 79-1103-02 and R8077.
Hoses fail at the flex points. A split near either cuff bleeds suction at the wand while the machine still sounds strong, and a broken conductor inside makes the power nozzle drop out when the hose is twisted.
