Part 2036967 is the end cap assembly with CleanShot spray tip for Bissell's ProHeat 2X CleanShot upright. The cap and the spray tip are supplied together as one assembly rather than as separate service parts.
End caps take the impacts a machine collects at floor level: baseboards, furniture legs and stair edges on every pass. They crack, cloud and chip long before the working parts inside the machine show comparable wear, and once a cap has split it no longer holds its side of the head square against the floor.
The CleanShot tip earns its own kind of damage. If it is chipped, blocked with dried solution, or sitting out of true, the concentrated spray stops landing where the head is aimed, so it misses the mark it was pointed at and wets carpet that did not need it.
Before ordering, work out whether the fault is the cap, the tip, or simply dried solution. A tip that clears with warm water and comes back to a clean, directed spray does not need replacing at all. Cracks, chips, and a cap that no longer sits tight are what this assembly is for, and both parts arrive together so a broken cap does not leave a serviceable tip behind.
