The motor base (Part #54169-1) is the structural housing that cradles and protects the motor on Eureka 2124 and C2032 vacuum cleaners. It positions the motor correctly within the chassis, manages airflow around the motor housing, and absorbs vibration during operation. A cracked or warped motor base lets the motor shift out of alignment, which can create rattling, airflow leaks, and premature wear.
