Product details
The bellows is the flexible, accordion-folded boot that connects sections of the airflow path inside a Sanitaire or Electrolux-Eureka commercial upright, most often between the nozzle and the fan chamber where a rigid connection would not survive the machine flexing as it moves. Part 78755380N replaces it.
Rubber and vinyl bellows harden and crack with age well before most other parts on these machines wear out, since they flex on every pass of the vacuum rather than sitting static like a housing panel. A cracked bellows leaks air at the exact point where suction is meant to be strongest, so the failure reads as a general loss of pickup rather than anything pointing directly at this one part, and it is easy to chase the wrong fix first.
Because the leak sits mid-path rather than at an obvious seam, a visual check with the housing open is usually the fastest way to confirm it: look for stiffness, splitting, or a bellows that has lost its accordion shape and sits flat. Commercial uprights running daily see this part fail sooner than a household machine would, simply from the accumulated flex cycles, so it is worth including in a routine inspection rather than waiting for a suction complaint to prompt the check.
- Part: 78755380N bellows
- Function: flexible airflow connector between nozzle and fan chamber
- Fits: Electrolux-Eureka EP9025A, EP9025A1, EP9027A and EP9027A1, and Eureka and Sanitaire SC9050E
Replace at the first sign of cracking rather than waiting for it to fail completely, since a bellows that has already torn open can also let debris into the fan chamber.
