Product details

A 40-foot extension cord for Sanitaire commercial uprights, part 1624067. The length is the point: it lets an operator work a corridor or a large floor from one outlet without stopping to re-plug, which is why commercial machines are specified with cords this long.

A cord that long collects damage. It gets run over by the machine it powers, trapped in doorways and pulled from the plug end, and the failure points are predictable — right behind the plug, and where the cord enters the vacuum body. Nicked insulation, or a cut-out that comes and goes as the cord is flexed, means it needs replacing rather than taping.

It fits the Sanitaire and Eureka SC5713D, SC5815E and SC5845D. Unplug the machine before fitting and reuse the original routing and strain relief so the new cord is properly anchored where it leaves the body.
