Returns & Exchanges

Part A07531401 is the exhaust cover assembly for the Sanitaire SC5500A/SC5500B upright, the panel that sits over the exhaust filter at the back of the machine and locks it into the last stage of the airflow path. Compatibility covers the SC5500A and SC5500B under both the Eureka and Sanitaire names.

The exhaust filter only does its job if air is forced through it, and the cover is what keeps it seated under the right pressure. Once the cover is cracked, warped, or missing outright, air takes the path of least resistance around the filter instead of through it, pushing the dust the machine was supposed to trap straight back into the room. A machine that suddenly seems to blow dusty air, or an exhaust filter that will not stay seated no matter how it is repositioned, points to this cover rather than the filter itself.
