This is the genuine Eureka front tube and gasket assembly for Eureka 8802, 8803, 8806, 8807, 8851, and 8852 upright vacuum cleaners. The front tube carries suction airflow from the cleaning nozzle up into the vacuum body, and the included gasket seals the joint so no air leaks out along the way.
A cracked tube or a hardened, missing gasket causes air leaks that rob the vacuum of suction at the floor. Replacing both together with this OEM part (Part #78417) restores a sealed airflow path and full pickup at the nozzle.
