Product details
This two-pack covers the front wheels for Eureka and Sanitaire uprights, part 35859A1, sold as a matched pair so both sides wear evenly after the swap.
Front wheels take the brunt of a machine's weight every time it is tipped back to clear a threshold or dragged over a door saddle, and the plastic eventually flattens on one side or the axle bore wears loose. A flat-spotted wheel makes the machine rock as it rolls and can leave marks on hard flooring, while a loose bore lets the wheel wobble even when the tread itself still has plenty of life left. Replacing both at once, rather than just the worn one, keeps the front end tracking evenly.
- Part: 35859A1 front wheel, sold as a 2-pack
- Fits: Eureka and Sanitaire 1934A, 1950A, 2124A, C2094D, S635A, S645A, SC684F, SC888N, SL635B, and related upright models
- Function: Rolling support for the front of the machine
- Tell: Rocking motion while pushing, or visible flat spots on the tread
Each wheel presses onto the front axle and is held by the factory clip, so no special tools are needed beyond something to seat the clip back into its groove. Check the axle for straightness while the wheels are off, since a bent axle will wear a new wheel the same way it wore the old one.
Buying wheels in pairs rather than as singles matters more than it might seem. A machine running one new wheel and one worn one rolls at two slightly different heights, which can tilt the nozzle in a way that looks like a bent axle even when the axle is perfectly straight. Replacing both together avoids that false diagnosis.
