Part 602897 is the complete hose assembly for the Sanitaire Mighty Mite commercial canister. It runs about eight feet and comes with both ends fitted, the tool-end handle grip and the machine-end coupling that locks into the canister. It is a non-electric hose, with no wiring for a powered nozzle.
Hoses fail from the inside out. The wire helix works through the lining after enough flexing, and the pinholes that result bleed off suction along the whole length, so the nozzle feels weak while the motor sounds fine. Splits at the cuffs, where the hose bends hardest, are the other common failure. Kinks and blockages inside the corrugations are worth ruling out first.
It fits the Eureka and Sanitaire 3673A, SC3683A, SC3683D and SL3681A. Push both cuffs fully home when fitting so the joints seal properly.
