This 12-inch base assembly (Part #55726-25) is the lower nozzle housing for Eureka / Sanitaire SC663 and S677 commercial upright vacuum cleaners. The base holds the brush roll, forms the floor-contact nozzle, and creates the seal that channels suction across the full 12-inch cleaning width.
On a commercial machine the base wears fast, taking impacts against baseboards, furniture legs, and floor transitions until the housing cracks or the nozzle lip wears down and suction falls off. A new base assembly re-establishes the airflow seal and proper brush positioning, restoring the strong, even pickup these Sanitaire uprights are known for.
