Part KC99PCPMZV06 is a telescopic electric wand for Kenmore canister vacuums that use the KM17-PN1001 power nozzle connector. The wand extends to length and carries both the suction airflow and the electrical feed down to the power nozzle.

Wear shows up in one of two ways: the telescoping tube starts sticking or will not hold its length, or the connector feeding power down to the nozzle begins cutting out, so the power nozzle runs intermittently or quits altogether even though the canister motor keeps pulling suction. A cracked or bent tube causes the same symptoms.

Confirm your power nozzle is the KM17-PN1001 before ordering, and compare the connector on your existing wand against the replacement, since a wand built for a different nozzle connector will not carry power through correctly.
