This is the HEPA exhaust filter for Hoover's WindTunnel T Series, part F290, listed for the UH70130 and used across a long run of related uprights, the UH70800, UH70805, UH70810, UH70820, UH70830, UH70839, UH70900, UH70905, UH70909 and the UH72600 among them.
It is the last thing the air passes through before it returns to the room, which makes it the filter allergy households notice. As it saturates, two things happen together: airflow through the machine drops, taking suction with it, and the media stops holding the finest particles it caught when new.
The filter lifts out of its bay at the back of the machine and the replacement drops straight in. Check the UH number on your data plate first, since Hoover used several exhaust filter shapes across the WindTunnel range.
