This is a Fit All replacement power nozzle with a 12 inch cleaning path, finished in black and fitted with an LED headlamp, distributor reference T5 / DS1601 and stocked as part 32-4801-05. It is built as a stand-in for the Beam RugMaster Plus power nozzle used on Beam central vacuum systems. This is an aftermarket replacement, not an original Beam-branded nozzle.
A power nozzle earns its keep on carpet, and the brush roll and drive belt inside are what actually agitate the pile rather than the suction alone. Once either one wears down, the nozzle rolls across the carpet without lifting embedded dirt even though the rest of the system is still pulling full suction, and the headlamp is usually the first thing to burn out or go dim well before the mechanical parts fail.
