Wessel Werk builds this upholstery tool, part 34.9001-302, five inches wide with soft red lint strips across the face that catch pet hair and lint as the nozzle passes over fabric. It connects to a 1-1/4 inch (32mm) hose or wand.
That connection is the most common size in home vacuuming, and the tool is sold as a universal fit across Hoover, Eureka, Bissell, Craftsman and Shop-Vac machines, and across central vacuum systems too. Measure the end of your wand or hose before ordering, since this one joint has to seal properly for the tool to pull at all.
Upholstery tools earn their place on surfaces a floor nozzle handles badly: cushions, mattresses, curtains, stair treads and vehicle interiors. The lint strips are what separate this from a plain nozzle, gripping fibers that airflow on its own leaves sitting in woven fabric. A five inch face is wide enough to cross a cushion in a few passes and still narrow enough to work down the side of a seat back or along a stair riser.
