The Rainbow E2 floor tool holds a removable bristle strip rather than a fixed brush, and this is the replacement strip, part R13203, cut to 11.5 inches for the E2 Type 12 in black, silver, and the later e2 Gold version.
Because the strip lifts out on its own, there is no need to replace the whole floor tool once the bristles have simply gone bald in the middle. A worn strip is easy to spot: bristles splayed sideways, flattened where the tool gets pushed hardest, or thinning in patches across the width.
A tool in that state stops sweeping fine dust into the airflow and instead pushes it ahead across hard floors, which is what leaves faint streaks across tile and hardwood after a pass that looked complete. Sliding in a fresh strip restores the sweeping action without touching the rest of the tool.
The strip is a user-replaceable wear item, not something that requires sending the whole floor tool in for service. Once the old strip is free of its channel, run a finger along the groove to clear out any packed grit before seating the new one, since debris left in the channel will keep the new strip from sitting flat along its full length.
