This replacement power head base plate covers and protects the bottom surface of your Kenmore canister vacuum power head. It houses the motor and agitator brush components, providing structural support for the entire power nozzle assembly.
Replace the base plate if it is cracked, warped, or has broken mounting tabs. A damaged base plate can cause the brush roll to sit unevenly, reducing carpet cleaning effectiveness and potentially damaging your floors.
