Seated inside cage-style motor filters, this replacement foam insert catches fine dust as air passes toward the motor on Eureka canister and Power Team vacuums. It measures 5 1/4 inches across and replaces Eureka part 34679.
The foam insert compresses and breaks down over time, losing its ability to trap fine particles and letting them reach the motor. Fitting a fresh insert every six to nine months, or once it looks compressed or crumbling, keeps filtration and airflow where they should be.
- Fits: Eureka 1600 series (1620 to 1680), 1700 series (1730 to 1791), 3700 series, Roto-Matic, Ironsides, Vitavac, Proteam, and similar cage-filter canisters
