Sirena Foot Pedal - Power N...

Product details
Part 40 is the toe-operated pedal built into the Sirena power nozzle housing, sized for the Sirena 6201. Mounted on the nozzle housing and worked with the toe rather than the hand, it is one of the most heavily used moving parts on the whole power head.
Constant foot pressure eventually catches up with it. The pivot point can crack, the return action can go soft, or the pedal face itself can split so a press no longer carries through to the mechanism it acts on. Once any of that happens, the control turns unreliable, sometimes taking several presses before it registers at all, which defeats the point of a control meant to be worked without bending down.
This replacement drops into the original mounting point on the nozzle housing without modification. Before installing it, unplug the machine and check the linkage the pedal drives, since a seized mechanism underneath will wear out a new pedal just as fast as it wore out the old one.
A pedal that still returns on its own but feels spongy partway through its travel is showing wear that has not finished yet, and that is worth telling apart from a split one: the spongy pedal usually keeps working for a while, while a pedal with a crack in its face tends to give out without warning partway through a job.
