Product details

Rosewood-colored scuff plate for the foot switch area on the Kirby 7400, part 111273. It covers the switch hardware at the base of the machine and takes the scrapes as the vacuum is pushed up against baseboards and furniture.

When the plate cracks or goes missing, two things follow: the foot switch beneath it is left open to grit and knocks, and the base of the machine looks worn even if everything else on it is sound. Neither improves on its own.

The replacement mounts to the original fixing points, so it is a quick job with the vacuum unplugged, and the rosewood finish matches the rest of the base. Listed specifically for the 7400, so check your model plate if you are working from memory.
