Part B386-2400 is the front mount for the Ametek clean air motor used on Riccar and Simplicity uprights. A motor mount holds the motor in position and takes up the vibration it produces, and this listing covers the front position.

Mounts lose their give with age and with the heat cycling that comes from ordinary use, and one that has gone hard or split no longer locates or damps a motor the way a fresh one does.
