This front cover clamp, part BD00261, secures the front cover on S100, RSQ1 and FV500 portable canisters. The clamp pulls the cover down against its seal so the bag chamber stays under vacuum. Once the clamp is cracked or sprung, the cover sits proud and the machine loses suction even with a new bag installed.
It is a small latch component sold on its own, so there is no need to buy a complete cover assembly to fix a broken catch. If the panel itself is damaged instead, the front body cover for the S100 Sport is listed separately under BA00581B.
