    This scored 32 ECT corrugated pad is cut to wrap around the neck of a Riccar full-size power nozzle (FSPN), the collar joining the wand to the power head, and it arrives flat until folded into place around that joint.

    Service shops and rebuilders use it when boxing a power nozzle for shipping or storage, folding it around the neck so the joint and its connection hardware do not get jarred out of alignment during shipping. Scoring the board ahead of time keeps the fold consistent from one pad to the next, which matters when a shop is packing several units a day and cannot afford a fold that slips or crushes the neck underneath it.

    It is a protective packaging item rather than a functional part of the vacuum, so it does not affect performance if it is missing; it only protects the nozzle during handling and shipment.
