Carpet Pro Upright Left End...

Product details

Two end caps hold the brush roll in place inside these commercial uprights, one on each side of the housing. B012-0700 is the left, non-driven cap, the side that simply supports the roller rather than turning it.

This cap covers a broad shared platform. It fits the Carpet Pro, Clean Max, Fuller Brush and Titan uprights built on the same brush roll housing, listed in full in the fitment line below, so double-check your exact model number before ordering.

Wear here shows up gradually. The supported end of the roller sags a fraction, which pulls the bristles away from the carpet along the left edge, leaves that side of a cleaning pass noticeably fluffier than the right, and can add a faint knock as the roller turns out of square. A worn cap is easy to overlook during a quick look, since the roller keeps spinning and the machine still picks up dirt across most of its width. Drag a hand across a freshly cleaned strip and you can usually feel the uneven nap between the two edges before the cap itself gives any visible sign.

Replacing it means pulling the roller free, so use the opportunity to check the roller's own bearings for side play, since they tend to wear out on a similar timeline. A roller with no wobble once the cap is off can go back in as is, while one with noticeable play should come out along with the cap.
