This rubber gasket seals the dirt can against the body on Beam central vacuum power units that use an 11-inch cloth bag, models including the 725, 750, 775 and related units. It also fits a run of Electrolux central units: the PU353, PU355, PU361 and PU371. Part 195001.

The gasket is the seal that lets a central vacuum hold suction from the power unit all the way to the furthest inlet. Rubber holds its compression in that joint for years, and eventually it hardens and cracks. Once it does, air bypasses the can at that one joint, and the whole house loses suction evenly rather than just one room feeling it more than another.

  • Fits: Beam central vacuum units using 11-inch cloth bags (725, 750, 775 and related); Electrolux PU353, PU355, PU361, PU371

  • Symptom: Weak suction at every inlet, or fine dust visible around the can seam
  • Install tip: Seat the gasket evenly around the full circumference before the can is refitted
