Filtration is only as good as its most loaded stage. A HEPA element packed with fine dust chokes airflow long before it stops trapping anything, and the symptoms show up as a louder machine, a hotter motor and rooms that take longer to finish. Changing it on a set schedule is the cheapest maintenance a Pro-Series will ever get. The foam post filter (CMPS-PF) and the secondary filter (CMPS-SF) are separate items, so a full filter service on one of these uprights usually means ordering more than one line.
