    Part B600-2700 covers the handle circuit board components listed for Riccar R25 and R27 uprights and for the Simplicity S26. As the name says, these are the board level parts belonging to the handle rather than to the body of the machine.

    Faults that trace back to a handle board show up as electrical behaviour that changes with the handle: a machine that refuses to start when the handle control is used, or power that comes and goes as the handle is moved. Neither symptom proves the board on its own, because a wiring fault produces the same picture, so the wiring should be checked before a board is ordered. That check costs nothing but time and it settles the question in one pass, which is worth doing before money is spent on a board.
