Shown at position 2 in SEBO's 300 350 Mechanical parts diagram, 50145SE is the full-length upright shaft that links the grip at the top of the machine to the body at the bottom, and it is supplied together with the cover that closes over it. It fits the SEBO 300 Mechanical and 350 Mechanical.
This tube absorbs the leverage of every forward and back stroke, plus every time the machine is dragged sideways by the handle or leaned into a doorway. The faults that bring it up are a bend that stops the vacuum tracking straight, a split at the lower mount where the load is highest, or a cover that will no longer clip flat and leaves the cabling behind it exposed to snagging. Ordering shaft and cover together means the two seat properly against one another rather than pairing a new tube with a tired, stretched cover that will not stay clipped.

At the top of the tube sits the complete handle 50214HGER in light gray, with cable hook 50220HGER and locking latch 50221HGER, both supplied with their fixings. The lifting points lower down are carrying handle 50143GSER and recessed grip 50130HG. If the wiring behind the cover is the real problem rather than the tube, the parts to quote are power supply cord 501843, switch 05112ER and switch rod 50371ER.
