This Hayden plaster guard protects a central vacuum rough-in opening during drywall, plaster, and paint work. It snaps onto the face of a Hayden 1041-01 mounting plate to keep joint compound, plaster, dust, and debris out of the inlet pipe and valve cavity while the wall is being finished. Once the wall is complete, the guard is removed so the inlet valve can be installed in a clean opening. Measures approximately 4.2 by 2.3 inches. Part #2012-01.
