Part D388-3800 is the post filter base assembly used on the PV platform machines that take a HEPA Plus exhaust filter, specifically the Riccar Radiance RADP and the Simplicity Synergy G9. It is the molded base the filter seats into on the exhaust side of the vacuum, the piece that holds the media square against its seal so air leaving the motor has to pass through the filter rather than around it.
