Kirby HomeFresh carpet freshener in Cinnamon, sold in a 16 oz can, part 28CN12S. Kirby's own description has it containing baking soda to help eliminate the odors trapped down in carpet, and it is used as a sprinkle-on powder that goes back up into the vacuum a few minutes later.
Lay down a light and even coat across the carpet, allow a few minutes for it to settle into the fibers, then vacuum it up along with the dirt it loosens. A light coat covers more carpet per can than a heavy dusting and is easier to lift completely. Because the powder rides into the vacuum bag along with whatever it picks up, Kirby notes it leaves both the room and the bag smelling fresh, so the cinnamon carries through the next few passes rather than fading after one use.
