Product details

The motor rivet used across Hoover's Conquest commercial range, part 012503EF. It fastens the motor assembly at its mounting point and holds the stack tight. It is listed for the C1065, C1067, C1069, C1111, C1119, C1119080, C1401, C1405, C1407, C1800, C1800010 and C1800020.

Commercial machines run for hours at a time, and constant vibration is what works fasteners loose. A rivet that has sheared or dropped out lets the assembly move: the machine develops a rattle under load, the vibration worsens, and the motor can end up sitting slightly out of alignment, which wears everything it drives.

Fit the correct rivet and the assembly pulls up tight again. Check the fasteners around it while the assembly is apart, since if one has gone, its neighbours have been carrying its share.
