This two-pack of Hoover Elite belts (Part #38-3125-00) supplies replacement flat belts for Hoover Elite upright vacuums. The belt turns the brush roll from the motor shaft so the brush can agitate carpet.

Belts stretch with use and eventually slip on the motor shaft, and a slipping belt lets the brush slow down or stop entirely. When that happens the vacuum passes over carpet without lifting the dirt out. Swapping in a fresh belt takes only a few minutes and brings back the deep-cleaning brush action right away.
