This genuine OEM Hoover exhaust filter cover (Part #59142028) fits the Hoover S3670. The cover holds the exhaust filter in place and directs the filtered air out through its printed vents, keeping the filter seated squarely against the housing.
A cracked or loose filter cover lets air escape around the filter instead of through it, which can push unfiltered dust back into the room and reduce the seal the exhaust depends on. A cover that no longer latches may also let the filter shift. A sound cover keeps the exhaust filter sealed and doing its job.
