Fan kit for the Oreck Elevate cordless upright, part 440013706. It fits the BK95519 and BK95520 and the Hoover CH95519.

The fan is what actually makes the suction. The motor spins it, and it moves the air that lifts dirt off the floor. Fans chip when something hard gets past the filtration, a coin, a screw, a stone off a boot tread, and a chipped or cracked fan then runs out of balance. You hear it as a rattle or a new vibration through the handle, and the machine picks up less than it did.

Running on a damaged fan is worth avoiding. The imbalance loads the motor bearings, so a fan replacement now is often what saves the motor later. Check the fan chamber for debris before fitting the new one.
