Hoover Handle Assembly - UH...

Product details

The handle assembly for Hoover's UH77100 series uprights is stocked as part 440015897.

A handle is not a part most people plan to replace, but it is the interface between the operator and the machine. Once the tube works loose in its mounting or the moulding cracks at a stress point, the vacuum becomes tiring to push and awkward to carry up stairs. Flex in the handle also transfers to the cord anchorage, which is how a handle problem turns into an electrical one.

Fitting the complete assembly deals with the whole handle in one operation rather than chasing individual cracked components. It fits the Hoover UH77100V, UH77110, UH77200V and UH77210V. Unplug the machine before you start, and take note of how the cord is clipped along the old handle so the new one is routed the same way.
