Short handle bolt for Hoover commercial uprights, part 21631301. It is the fastener that pins the handle to the machine body, a small piece of hardware doing a job nobody thinks about until it is gone.
On a commercial upright that handle is pushed, pulled and dragged all day. When the bolt backs out or shears, the handle develops a wobble, then a lean, and the load that used to run through the bolt starts working on the plastic mounting ears instead. Left alone, a missing bolt turns a trivial fix into a housing replacement.
It fits Hoover commercial uprights including the C1065, C1067, C1069, C1085, C1111, C1405, C1425, C1429, C1431, C1439, C1525, C1800, C1805, C1815, U4381, U4525, U4531, U7069, U7071 and U7079. Hoover used two handle bolt lengths, so measure the one you are taking out - the long version is a separate part.
