Hoover Rear Wheel Washer - All Convertible Models

A small part with an outsized effect: the rear wheel washer used across the Hoover Convertible line, part 21312772. It spaces the wheel on its axle so the wheel turns true instead of rubbing against the housing.

Convertibles are old machines still in daily use, and by the time one comes in for service this washer is often missing entirely. Without it the wheel sits loose, wanders on the axle and either drags or binds. The vacuum becomes noticeably harder to push, and the wheel can rub a black mark along a hard floor. The play chews the axle too, so a missing washer eventually turns into a bigger repair.

It fits Hoover Convertible uprights including the 1030, C1065, C1067, C1069, C1085, C1091, C1111, U4125, U4313, U4381, U4387, U4497 and U4531. Replace both sides while the machine is on its back.
