Black telescopic wand, part 440012913, for the Hoover UH30600 WindTunnel upright and a long list of relatives: the UH30601 and UH30601CDI, the UH30650 and UH30651 with their PC and VPC variants, the CH54100, the UH75110, UH75120, UH75200, UH75210, UH75250 and UH75260, and the Dirt Devil UD70200. It also carries Hoover number 304315001.
The wand is what turns the hose into a reach tool for ceiling corners, curtain tops and stair risers. It telescopes, which means a sliding joint, and sliding joints wear. The sections seize with compacted dust, or the lock stops holding and the wand collapses under pressure just as you extend it.
A new wand gives back full extension and a lock that stays where you set it. Match the cuff to your old wand before ordering.
