Left and right trunnion covers with their screws, Hoover part 412007001, for the FH40005 and FH40010 series floor cleaners including the FH40010B, FH40010TV, FH40010TVC and FH40030.
The trunnions are the pivots the handle turns on when you recline the machine to start cleaning, and these covers are what keeps those joints clean. Lose one and the pivot is open to everything the head throws up, detergent mist, grit and hair, which turns a smooth recline into a stiff, notchy one and eventually wears the pivot itself oval so the handle develops sideways play.
They are cheap parts protecting an expensive repair, so fit them as a pair even if only one has cracked. Both sides have seen the same years and the same knocks, and the second usually follows the first within months.
